Introducing the Echo Hub, Amazon's first Alexa-enabled smart-home control panel. With millions of Amazon customers connecting over 20 devices to Alexa, the Echo Hub empowers users to seamlessly manage and control all their devices from one central location.
MY ROLE
As the Creative Director on Amazon's Devices Brand Studio team, I collaborated with Product, UX/UI, GTM (Go-to-Market) and Brand Strategy to strategically position and lead the creative direction for the global launch of the Echo Hub. This involved overseeing the entire process, from initial visual research and concept development to the execution of launch video, as well as managing photography and integrating 3D motion across on-site, packaging, and a planned social media campaign in 2024.
One smart home control
Echo Hub features an updated UI experience that enables users to control their smart homes with just one touch. We created a video demonstrating how everything, from brewing coffee at a specific morning time to controlling lighting, can be automated, showcasing real-time action and reaction scenes.
Photography
We photographed Echo Hub in a home environment, emphasizing its seamless control over smart home features like thermostats, security, and personal assistance. Our focus with the video was to illustrate its ease of use and functionality in a realistic setting. In photography, we not only showcased the dense and customer-friendly UI experience but also captured the device's sleekness and thinness, showcasing its elegant design organically within the home context. The result is an art direction that emphasizes Echo Hub's role in enhancing home efficiency and comfort, inviting viewers to imagine a more connected lifestyle.
